This gear works with any Sears Craftsman, Chamberlain, or Liftmaster chain or belt drive electric openers (1984 - present).

This gear is compatible with the 41A2817 and 41C4220A Liftmaster parts. See additional pictures of gears, if your gear looks like the old gear, you probably need a new one. If you hear your opener running but is not opening your door, your gear may need to be replaced.

Important note: A low-temp lithium grease must be applied to each tooth of new gear or new gear will shred quickly.
